Bug in Input, Debug in Mind
Good Evening!
Everybody faces problems in
life. No one in this world is completely free from them. Even little kids have
their own challenges to solve. We often think we carry the heaviest burden — we
feel pressure, we get nervous, tense, and sometimes even take out our
frustration on others.
But sometimes, the truth is
simple — we’re just missing one small piece that completes the puzzle.
Recently, while working on a
concept in DBMS about one-to-one and one-to-many
relationships, I faced an issue. The source table wasn’t showing the target
table details, and instead, it kept giving me a “related display error.” I
spent nearly two hours checking everything repeatedly, but nothing
worked.
Finally, I gave up and asked
a colleague for help. She glanced at it for barely a minute, went straight to
the target table, and selected the target ID — something I hadn’t even touched
yet. I ran it again, and just like magic… it worked!
All I had missed was marking
a single ID. That tiny step had cost me two hours of my time. And here’s
the kicker — I didn’t ask for help sooner because I thought I could handle it
on my own.
That day, I learned
something valuable: Asking for help is not a weakness.
It’s a strength that can save time, avoid frustration, and prevent future
mistakes.
So in life, when something
isn’t falling into place, don’t ignore the possibility of a missing piece. Find
it — or let someone help you find it — because even the smallest thing can make
the biggest impact.
🧩 “Every puzzle is just one piece away from completion.”
