Filtered
by Destiny
“Count your blessings.”
Yeah, yeah—we’ve all heard it, like that overplayed song on the radio. But
honestly, it feels to me like doing an advanced search in life. You type
in “gratitude,” and somehow destiny runs the filter, removing all the spammy,
fake connections, and leaving you with the genuine ones.
A few months back, I
realized this filter in action. I used to be the “meeting in-charge”—you know,
the human Google Calendar with a smile. Everyone suddenly liked me, spoke
sweetly, and treated me like I was a VIP pass to their good side. But the
moment I was no longer the “in-charge”? Boom—search result not found. Suddenly,
people acted like I’d expired, like yesterday’s OTP.
But here’s the fun part:
even in that mass unfollow vibe, the real ones showed up. A handful who
still spoke to me the same, treated me as “me,” not as my designation. They’re
the gems destiny filtered out—the blessings hidden in the inbox full of
promotions and spam.
So yeah, treat everyone
well, but don’t panic when the list looks short. Because just like advanced
search, life keeps only the best results for you. Be good, and good will find
you—without even hitting refresh.
๐ “Because sometimes Ctrl+F won’t find the real Gems.”
๐️ Until next line of code…
